Nine Japanese Companies visit Bangladesh to assess Potential Business growth opportunities!

Representatives from nine Japanese companies visited Bangladesh past week, in hopes of assessing the current technological capabilities of the Bangladesh IT resource pool. They were cordially received by BJIT Limited, which was chosen as their host due to its strong foothold in technology and resources in Bangladesh IT industry. During their stay, they exchanged their experiences of working in the Japanese Market, learned about the inner workings and benefits of outsourcing IT resources from Bangladesh, and experienced the rich history and culture of Bangladesh. The visiting representatives are Tatsuya Hattori, CEO of Ultra-X Asia Pacific, Masami Ishibashi, Manager of Ultra-X Asia Pacific, Yasushi Horikawa, Director of Deple, Akihito Niizawa, Executive Officer of TCE Co., Limited, Shinji Morimoto, CEO of Better Place Co., Limited, Yasuyuki Tanaka, CEO of Yaz Co., Limited, Kentaro Nakayama, CEO of Nakayama Shoe Shop Limited, Hibiki Nozawa, CEO of Zenkigen Incorporated, and Tetsuji Watanabe, Director of Grid Incorporated.

These guests were accompanied by Honorable Founder of BJIT Group and Representing Director of BJIT Incorporated and BJIT Limited Mr. JM Sawkat Akbar, Director & COO of BJIT Limited Mr. Mehedi Masud along with other senior members.

They arrived in Bangladesh on 4th of July 2019. Their primary goal was to visit BJIT Group’s offshore headquarter BJIT Limited and learn more about Bangladeshi offshore software development company. During their stay, they visited BJIT Group’s Bangladesh office, attended meeting and discussion sessions, and also visited corporate building to see the employee status and their works with their own eyes. They talked with the employees and learned about the on-going projects. BJIT employees also shared their opinion to be a part of country’s best offshore software development company and appreciate their visit to BJIT.

While staying in Dhaka, they guests were also taken to the historical places of University of Dhaka and the Institute of Modern Languages. Sightseeing, sharing experience with students, and learning about the history of Bengali language was the notable events.

Besides Dhaka, the guests also paid their visit to Sonargaon, the historic city in central Bangladesh. They enjoyed the beauty and wonders of the Anncient Panam City and Sonargaon Folk-Arts & Crafts Museum. Along with sight-seeing, the team also took photographs, engaged themselves with locals and tested Bangladeshi food!

They departed Bangladesh on the 7th July. BJIT was honored to be able to represent Bangladesh to these future enthusiasts, in order to further help pave the way for foreign companies to take more interest in the growing IT market. BJIT is proudly trying to serve its purpose in acting as a bridge between Japan and Bangladesh IT industries, and hopefully someday the world.
